Notice to the media of publication ban requests 

In every Tribunal hearing there is an automatic publication ban prohibiting the publication or broadcast of the name, other identifying information and medical information concerning a patient unless the Tribunal orders otherwise. See Rule 2.2.2 of the Rules of Procedure.  

The Tribunal may also order a broader publication ban as set out in Rule 2.2.8(c). Anyone seeking a broader publication ban must provide notice of the request to the media by filing a Form 2A.
